Hello, I’m Gabrielle Scollay — the founder and designer behind Sustainably Gabrielle.

My love for sewing began in my younger years, but it was during a month-long trip to Indonesia at nineteen that my passion for garment design truly blossomed. While working alongside a beautiful small garment factory, I was introduced to the art of pattern drafting, and something in me quietly clicked.

Years Later after becoming a mother, I found myself returning to sewing as a creative sanctuary — a slower, more intentional way to create with my hands. Over time, alongside a professional career acting in film & television, I learnt to translate those tactile skills into the world of digital pattern making, slowly refining both my technique and creative voice.

In 2026, Sustainably Gabrielle was born.

Today, the brand is centred around thoughtfully crafted sewing patterns that celebrate timeless silhouettes, romantic everyday living, and the beauty of making clothing slowly and intentionally. Each design is created with care, blending wearability with soft feminine details, so the garments you sew feel both effortless to wear and deeply meaningful to make.

More than anything, Sustainably Gabrielle is an invitation to slow down, create thoughtfully, and romanticise the everyday through handmade clothing and craftsmanship.
